Our Light Filtering RV Pleated Shades are made with Light Filtering fabric designed to cut down the light, but not blacken the room. Pleated shades are made from fabric that compresses tightly when the pleated RV shades are opened, blocking less view through your windows.

Adding any RV window coverings to your motorhome, camper, or recreational vehicle provides privacy as well as protects the fabrics and furniture within your RV.

Blackout Liner Option for RV Pleated Shades

Our blackout liner is an additional layer of fabric pleated together with the fabric of your choice to provide enhanced light blockage. The liner is white in color and does not match the shade’s decorative fabric. Because the lift cords pass through both fabrics, the cord holes remain visible. However, the blackout liner still ensures blackout performance, providing additional privacy and darkness when needed.

Note: 1/4" will be added to the width of the shade for end caps on outside mount only.

These run on tension cords. The tensioner mounts to the wall, below your shade. This allows the shade to be raised and lowered to any height.

How deep is the header on these shades and how do they attach to the RV wall or window?

We can have hold down brackets attached to the bottom rail to keep them in place so they don't bang back and forth. Just let us know when you place your order so we can make sure to add them.

On these you need 1 1/4" minimum depth for the head rail.

Are the Room Darkening RV Pleated Shades really made from "blackout fabric" as your description states?

The room darkening RV pleated shades, are only room darkening, not blackout. If you would like the blinds to be total room darkening, we can add a white liner to the back of the shades to help with that at an additional charge. Thanks!
